My name is Jon Arntsen and although my experience with computers goes back to the early 1980's, I've been an Information Technology professional since 1999. I am currently seeking clients who I can help when I'm away from my day job as a Senior System Administrator. Here's a quick rundown of my experience.1983-1990
Learned BASIC programming, DOS, text-based word processing and began working with Windows 3.
1992-1998
Non-technical career choices exposed me to warehousing, manufacturing and shipping industries. Began taking technical classes again.
1999
Began technical career as a Computer Support Specialist for a cold-storage warehouse company.
2000-2007
Became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows NT technology. Continued technical career as a System Administrator for an aerospace engineering and manufacturing firm. Began supporting Apple Mac's in small ways.
2007-Present
Senior System Administrator for a direct mail and database marketing firm. Began supporting Mac's intensively as part of a Windows environment. Stepping out to help those who are looking for trustworthy support and training for their home or office computers.
